They work hard and often play harder. They’re young, beautiful and highly entertaining. My long days at fashion week are made shorter when they are around, much love to my friends- the models. Bambi, Louise and Steph, StyleMeRomy can’t get enough of you.
We caught up with Karla, and she gave us her take on her Fashion Week collection..
The collection was an exploration of two complete opposites and the way that two cultures merged and had to learn to adapt to one another. Their is a dark side to it but there is also light. I experimented with fluid draping shapes into more structured silhouettes. I’m excited with the printed pieces as well.
Lara and I at the Four Seasons hotel (the StyleMeRomy headquarters for Fashion Week).
We were both guest blogging for Harpers BAZAAR online, check it out.
I feel a moment away from fashion will be great tonight and who better to hang out with than Daimon (former Sneaky Sound System) and Charlie (Chuck&Bob).
Their latest adventure is a celebration of established artists, as well as unearthed raw Australian talent, displaying the finest pieces of art. Leaving the pretention of the art world behind, this event is about taking the seriousness out of fine art and making it more accessible to our generation. And boy what an experience it will be, live music, great food & a X-rated room. Opening party 7pm tonight till the police close them down. Exhibition up till the 9th May, 2-14 Amelia st Waterloo.
I think you’ve gathered by now how much I adore Miss Renya. Her talent, her loving nature and her major contribution to StyleMeRomy. In this interview she talks about preparing for a show and what it takes to be a Hair Director for ghd.
Today was a mix of what Dion does best -tailoring, gorgeous colour tones and then slashed to perfection. We got amongst it backstage to give you a glimpse of the beauty…
