‘I grew up in Brisbane and moved to Sydney when I was 21. The bracelet is from my boyfriend and the ring is a friendship ring from my family’

My favourite things…

‘I lived in New York while studying at the Lee Strasberg Institute, I bought this photograph by George Byrne of the Brooklyn Bridge here in Australia, it reminds me of my time there. This photo of Rose (Byrne) and I was taken at The Plaza Hotel in New York, it has so much history we had to go there, even just for a drink! Rose and I grew up together, this mirror is a gift from her, its a prop from a film she did, I Capture the Castle.’

‘I’m a character actress so love to dress up, these Chelsea de Luca earrings have an Old Hollywood feel to them, the top hat was a gift from a friend and has the original owners name written inside. This silver ring I bought in La Paz when I trekked through South America.’

Delta Of Venus, it’s a collection of beautifully written short erotic stories that are perfect for travelling. I always wear this Marc Jacobs fragrance, it’s a mens scent but its really sweet and fresh.’

‘This creepy porcelain doll was a gift from a friend after doing a show called Bliss, it was a horror so it was quite fitting. There is a store in Sydney that sell these dolls already broken.’

Krew recently starred in 3D film Dead Boring and on popular Australian TV series, Rescue Special Ops. We named Krew’s porcelain doll, Jamie.

‘I take my camera everywhere, I really enjoy photography, I shot bands before I started acting. Music’s a big part of my life and I really enjoy collecting vintage records. The keyboard was a present for my birthday a few weeks ago. I’m a self-taught player and I write my own songs.’

‘Rachel Ward gave me the necklace I’m wearing, a gift after filming ‘Beautiful Kate’. I have a favourite bracelet that I always wear that I bought for my Mum and Dad to wear as well. It has a small owl on it that symbolises that we are all looking over each other.’

Sophie’s highly acclaimed performance in Beautiful Kate earned her a very busy schedule. Recently completing the film Blame shot in Perth and due out this September.

My Favourite Things…

‘This handy flip camera captures bits of inspiration for films, I’ve gotten into the habit of backing all the footage up on my hard drive, I suppose I’m as techie as a creative person can get! My Moleskin is also for bits of inspiration, when I’m rehearsing I make notes all the time.’

‘I travel a lot for work, so its nice to have familiar things around me. This buddah has been with me everywhere, so has this picture of my mum and dad which was especially important to me when I was living in Venice Beach (LA) for 2 years. This diamond and onyx ring from Jan Logan is beautiful.’

‘This picture drawn of me was a gift from a friend in Venice as a congratulations after the release of the first short film I wrote and directed. I loved Venice, people either love it or hate it, for me it’s like a little creative utopia.’

‘This lip balm and essential oil spray is from my best friend Vanessa Megan

Actress/Director, Alyssa, is in the up & coming film ‘Surviving Georgia’ and about to start another Australian film ‘Like a Virgin’. Alyssa wrote and directed the short film Nic & Shauna that featured was in Tropfest last year, one of only two films that featured by female directors.

My Favourite Things…

‘These brogues are my favourite shoes, I bought them in Paris while on exchange. I love French culture and the music, I understand most of the words but its even nice when I don’t to just enjoy the music!’

‘I wear a lot of vintage, these trinkets are from my mum’s boutique (The Vintage Room). The Light of New York book and the autographed photo of Audrey Hepburn were both gifts from my boyfriend- I think it’s incredible that Audrey actually touched this!’

‘I’m heading to New York soon, I’ll definitely take my camera but the film is really expensive. I’m studying Art History at uni which has given me a greater appreciation of art, when I saw this portrait of Heath Ledger by Vincent Fantauzzo I was blown away.’

‘Filming Charlie & Boots was such a fantastic experience, the crew became like a little family because we were all on the road together.’

Morgan loves her guitar, and plays it well. She has starred alongside Paul Hogan in Charlie & Boots, with Geena Davis in Accidents Happen and will be apart of Interview magazine’s Young Hollywood 2010 issue.
