I love my friend Kym. I love her personal style, her collections, her newly acquired blue hair and I WANT her Givenchy clutch.
I caught up with Kym in her chaotic studio……
Romy: The first time we worked together I had you sewing a dress early on a Saturday morning and you drove it all the way over to Wahroonga. You got it to me just in time for my Vogue shoot.
Kym: I remember, I called that the ‘Romy dress’ it was a real hit! We got so many calls about it.

R: I still wear it. So you’re in Paris for the party season, how tres chic of you, any parties?
K: A million one would hope! I’m going over with my friend Wendy James to launch her new solo CD in collaboration with A.P.C… and I anticipate spending a far bit of time at Le Baron.
R: What is the dress code?
K: Layered! It will be tres, tres froid.
R: And what will you wear?
K: I will be rocking out my new Balenciaga heels as regularly as possible. My Ellery Minnesota dress, Givenchy clutch bag and my favourite jewellery items- my Dior ‘oui’ ring on one hand and my mothers wedding ring on the other.
