I dropped by the Gucci store this week, where I was able to witness the skilled artisans emboss my very own bamboo purse (thank you!). I loved being reminded of the beautiful craftsmanship put into everything they make.

My girls, a little tipsy at the end of a long week.

It’s always a laugh catching up with blogger, photographer and friend Candice Lake. We met way back in the year 2000 when Candice was a model on her first ever photo shoot that I styled for Nylon US, in Byron Bay with Photographer Derek Henderson. Now based in London, Candice, travels the world snapping for the likes of Vogue (UK and Australia) and her own blog.

I had drinks at Neild Ave last week with the dynamo Swede, Elin Kling, who runs an empire beyond blogging. Elin is out here to launch her fashion label, Nowhere exclusively with Mycatwalk.com. We chatted about turning our blogs into print, her STYLEBY magazine and the koala she made friends with at Toronga Zoo.

After my styling presentation at the Louis Vuitton accessories event tonight in the chic new flagship Sydney store, models, Jemma, Phillipa, Olivia (Chic) & I hijacked the polaroid camera and snapped away. Its great how models never tire to pose in front of the camera.

Styling the debut show for AJE designers, Eddi and Adrian, last Thursday at fashion week was my pleasure. I love these guys, even the absolute chaos backstage (no steamers, no dressers!) deep in the vaults of the beautiful Martin Place, Paspaley‘s store still made the experience a sparkling success.
