Brazilian bombshell, Guisela Rhein (Chic) popped into StyleMeRomy headquarters and gave us a rundown on her prevailing dress sense of candy colour tones. Brights are back! Whilst in Sydney she’s picked up some Sportsgirl and mixed it with her fav New York finds. Don’t leave us honey…
It’s Halloween this weekend and we’ve embraced this very American holiday and made it the new IT party to be at. Taking inspiration from the style bible, Paris Vogue’s 90year anniversary issue, it’s all about a mask. This Jonathan Howard creation is just like a veil of make up with a whisper of naughtiness.
It was a gem of a day shooting the beautiful Victoria Lee (Chadwicks) for Mezi jewellery, take a peek behind the scenes at their sparkling winter campaign.
It’s the silly season for shooting look books. Stylist’s running around frantically trying to find the perfect shoe, accessory or reference to help designers complete their vision for their range.

Definition of a lookbook: a very long day of shooting loads of images of every single piece in a designers collection photographed (usually) on a model which is then used as a selling tool for the collection.
Make-up Artist, Max May touches up the gorgeous Guisela Rhien (Chic) his tip for the Bec & Bridge look “Mixing shadows with creams. The bronze shadow gives the drama and the gold cream over the top and inner corners make it look fresh and youthful”

She loves: Her mother who is a famous Fashion Designer of the label Pirosmani in Russia, Richmond cigs (wow I have to say they look so old school chic) her Canon camera and her boyfriend, 80′s electro pop muscian Telsa Boy. He wrote her the song “thinking of you” so sweet.
This is my favourite up do this season. We know heat and hair have had a troubled past together, so why fight nature’s course and just throw it up in a high pony or bun and make it look a little messy and effortlessly done. Voilà
Oh, if you have really curly hair try the ghd stylers
A Picture I took of Alys at the casting for StyleMeRomy.com, Love Lace and Camel Tone stories.
She had arrived that morning from London!
Alys was born and grew up in Cambridge and now lives in London. She came to Australia for 2 weeks to model here and we asked her a few questions…
Do you like Sydney? Best job you’ve done whilst here?
Sydney is beautiful! Amazing food and wildlife…excluding the spiders. The best job, aside from StyleMeRomy.com was Vogue main fashion.
How have you got around Sydney? What’s in your bag everyday?
I get around Sydney either on foot if it’s sunny and If I have time, or by bus and If I’m feeling very lazy then a cab. In my bag will by my map of Sydney and my (modeling) portfolio. A pair of Kurt Geiger studded heels, purse, phone, YSL touche eclat, my book Indigo by Marina Warner, iPod, and the rest of my life.
What do you love? Or can’t live without?
I love my boyfriend, my family, my Vivienne Westwood ring, my Fender Jazzmaster, Twin Peaks, sushi, hanging out with my friends and Virginia Woolf.
