My search for the perfect Derby Day look hasn’t been easy and I’m still googling the weather everyday in Melbourne (which has a bad reputation for crazy weather changes & I’m Melbournian so I can say that with confidence). Below a taste of what I’m thinking…My bets are on the Gucci look though, Kate Waterhouse has another favourite.
“I love the D&G/ELLERY look. I like a top and skirt combination because you can play with different colours, prints and shapes to make your outfit unique and stand out from the crowd. I think spring racing is all about having fun and this look puts a fashionable twist on your traditional raceday attire.” – Kate Waterhouse
And we’re off… Race Week begins on StyleMeRomy with some accessories for this years Fashions on the Field. Think outside the box, elegant scarves, chic gloves and a bold shoe that will stay on even the tiredest feet!
What do Cate Blanchett, Miranda Kerr, Elizabeth Debicki, Christine Centenera and I all have in common… well we are all Josh Goot fans!
Miss Blanchett summed up Josh’s new season to StyleMeRomy perfectly “Sculptural, baroque yet modern and sleek. An impossibly difficult mix of influences to keep in the air but to have them all land in one collection and indeed in these two dresses is pure genius.” CB

StyleMeRomy photographer Zachary Handley, who recently shot Back in The Land of Aus. decided to share his surf trip through Europe with us. A true traditionalist, he captured “on film”moments (no iphone or digi camera used) to make us #wishwewerethere!

stayed in a beach house with my good friends.

Camping at a surf break about 30 miles west of San Sebastian for a week. We
spent the two days surfing, eating and playing cards in the sun.
