Who Said What About Fashion Week

I got the lowdown from the models to the journalists and the hair directors.

Style and Fashion Editor for the Sun Herald, Kate Waterhouse.
“Hands down, the highlight of the week for me was Romance Was Born. The show was fun and entertaining with a Marvel comic theme, yet they still incorporated current trends with their own unique and individual style. Kate xx”

Model Ruby-Jean Wilson (Priscillas).
“Hanging out with the girls I hadn’t seen for a while like Amanda Ware and MJ, and my best friend Milli doing my hair for the Carl Kapp show”

Hair director, Sophie Roberts.
“For me it has to be top three highlights because I had the privilege of working with three hot designers. Ksubi, three words: denim, leather, sex. Zimmermann: the perfect cohesion of ideas between Nicky, Tamilla, Linda and I on the make up and hair direction… the girls looked magical! Alice McCall: for the romance of a hair look that the girls felt great wearing.”

Street Chic Candice Lake

It’s always a laugh catching up with blogger, photographer and friend Candice Lake. We met way back in the year 2000 when Candice was a model on her first ever photo shoot that I styled for Nylon US, in Byron Bay with Photographer Derek Henderson. Now based in London, Candice, travels the world snapping for the likes of Vogue (UK and Australia) and her own blog.

Candice and I at the camilla and marc dinner at fashion week.

Still love these pics, we just drove and knocked on a door of some random house off the highway just outside of Byron and shot away.
