In the House

I went to visit my friends at MCM House: a Waterloo warehouse turn showroom. Furniture shops/importers Chuck & Bob and Manning & Manning have joined forces and now live here under the same roof offering a perfect combination of their distinct furniture personalities.

These three have been working together since the beginning of the year, it’s a whole experience in itself meeting everyone at MCM House.

Triple trouble, they all get along well & argue constantly (of course). We just hung out and I’m pretty sure that’s what they do when I’m not there as well.

This is Rob Manning: co-owner of MCM House, originally of Manning & Manning. It’s a family affair at MCM, Rob is Charlie’s uncle. Their styles are all mixed together: Rob is on the classic side of things and Charlie is the quirkier nephew which makes for an eclectic mix of tastes.

Coat Check

It’s starting to get chilly in the southern hemisphere. So if I’m not wearing my jacket on my shoulders like a cape, this winter I’m wearing my coat as a dress, with this vintage ‘out there’ drop shoulder look.
