There was an energy backstage because it was the first show. It was like the eye of the storm: everyone saying hi to each other, getting ready for the week, suppressed excitement and an odd calm as it all began.

Anything different this season? Heavier layering of textures, prints are more three dimensional and graphic, cleaner shapes without the focus on draping.
Where’s your head at right now? I’m not sure. I think I lost it a couple of months ago as soon as I started working on fashion week.
What are you wearing today? Gary Bigeni polka dot pants, bright green Jil Sander tee, fluoro orange knit from Rozelle Markets and zebra print creepers.
Where would you like to be after fashion week? In Tokyo getting a taste for a different kind of craziness.
As the RWB wall descended to reveal a comic book strip meet pop up book, we entered a futuristic void with 70s undertones. It was like watching a fashion show, but with 3D glasses on. This theme translated throughout the entire show, new shapes and forms and so much texture popped out and opened up another story. It was Miranda Otto’s first time to RWB show and she found it an absolute sensation.
