Take a step on set with me as I take you behind the lens, whilst wearing both photographer and stylist hat (or heels, rather), shooting with Australian designed and made label, Viktoria and Woods. In this exclusive sneak peak I have complied a collection of my favourite outtakes across two seasons.
After last weeks wave of punk inspiration during the Chaos to Couture themed Met Gala in NYC, we stepped back into the 90s for this shoot. Keeping true to the grunge theme, we shot in our hair stylist’s garage with the two blue-eyed best friends, Claire and Caitlin. I remember my bob back in the late 90s; I had just finished school and was trying to get into clubs dressed to the ‘nineties’ with my take on the mod bob. Though it didn’t work for me then, little did I know that all I needed was Renya Xydis of Valonz to show me how the revival of an old classic is really done.
Together these two actors joined forces to make the fashion flick for clothing designer, Kahlo. Rachael Taylor took to the camera and nurtured the young Miss Hanna Mangan-Lawrence in a video inspired by the haughting pictures of American photographer Francesca Woodman.

At 14, Hanna Mangan-Lawrence started her acting career in the TV series Bed of Roses, continuing on to play a number of roles, most recently being Seppia in Sparticus. This Piscean has swum from our shores to LA to live with boyfriend, muso Jack Glass of Bag Raiders. Rocking up to set in a ‘Parliament’ disco band tee, this actress has a casual asthetic when it comes to dressing, her fave designers being Kahlo, Acne, Bassike, ELLERY & Lover.
This story begins with a young actress who when she grows up wants to be a Film Director, CUT!! Pan to Rachael Taylor who just got the green light to direct and feature in a Bonds campaign web series, shot on the streets of NY later this year. We asked her a few of our teen inspired quirky questions and got some (in true Rachael style) unpredictable answers.
